Record a message today. We'll deliver it to the person you love — on the right date, at the right moment, or after you're gone.
Messages in Time is a private platform where you record personal messages — video, audio, or written — and we hold them safely until the moment you choose to release them.
Think of the things you've always wanted to say but haven't found the right moment. A father's advice for his daughter's wedding day. A grandmother's voice, recorded before Alzheimer's takes it. A spouse's love letter to be opened on a 25th anniversary they may not share.
These words exist inside of us. Messages in Time gives them a path forward.
Records advice for her daughter's graduation, wedding, and first child — from the hospital bed, years before any of those moments arrive. Her voice, her words, delivered on time.
A husband records himself — still fully present — for the family holidays he may not be lucid for. His grandchildren will meet him as he truly was.
Records a message for his children to open if he doesn't come home — and a second one for their 18th birthdays, just in case he does.
A couple records messages to each other on their wedding day. Sealed for 25 years. Opened together — or alone.
Simple enough to do today. Secure enough to trust with something irreplaceable.
Video, audio, or written. Upload from any device. We accept any format and process it securely.
Choose a date, a life event, or designate a trusted Caretaker who will trigger delivery when the moment comes.
Your messages are encrypted and held in secure storage. No one can access them — not even us — until the trigger fires.
Your recipient receives a private, beautifully presented message — by email, text, or physical mail — exactly as you intended.
Choose an exact date — a birthday, an anniversary, a graduation year, a future holiday. We deliver at the moment you specify, no matter how far ahead.
Assign a trusted Caretaker — a family member, attorney, or friend — who can trigger delivery when a life event occurs: a wedding, a birth, a coming-of-age milestone.
For messages meant to outlast you. An annual check-in keeps your account active. If you miss it, a 30-day grace period begins. A confirmed Caretaker authorizes final delivery.
"Every family has words that were never said. We built Messages in Time so they don't have to stay that way."
Start Your First MessageCapture the voice, wisdom, and personality of a loved one while they're still fully present. Give future generations a way to know who they truly were.
Record the messages you want delivered after you're gone — to children, grandchildren, spouses, old friends. Say everything you need to say, on your own terms.
Deployed servicemembers record messages for their children in case they don't return home — and for birthdays and milestones if they do. Peace of mind on both ends.
Pair Messages in Time with a will, trust, or estate plan. Legal instructions handle the assets; Messages in Time handles the things that matter more.
Wedding day time capsules. Letters to children to open at 18. Anniversary surprises. Messages in Time is the gift that arrives exactly when it should.
Record reflections, blessings, and testimonies for future generations of your family or congregation. Spiritual legacy preserved in your own words.
We offer three partnership structures — built to fit the way your organization already works with the people who trust you.
No monthly fees. No subscriptions. No wondering if your messages will still be there. You pay once — they're held for life.
We invest your payment in low-risk instruments. The returns fund operations. Your money works — so you never pay again.
Alzheimer's and dementia steal presence while the body remains. There's a window — sometimes months, sometimes just weeks — where the person is still fully themselves. Messages in Time was built, in part, to help families use that window.
We're partnering with the Alzheimer's Association and related organizations to provide fully-funded accounts to diagnosed patients and their families — before we charge a single dollar publicly. This is not a PR strategy. It's a founding commitment.

Messages in Time holds a provisional patent on our core Sender/Caretaker/Recipient delivery architecture — the mechanism that makes event-triggered and legacy delivery both trustworthy and legally defensible.
The Caretaker is a trusted third party — a family member, attorney, or friend — who holds no access to message content but carries the authority to trigger delivery when a life event occurs. For legacy messages, a Caretaker must actively confirm the sender's passing before any delivery begins, preventing premature or fraudulent release.
The death-triggered send is governed by a layered verification system: the sender completes an annual check-in to confirm they are living. If the check-in is missed, a 30-day grace period begins. Only after the grace period expires — and a designated Caretaker independently confirms the death — does the delivery queue activate. No single point of failure. No accidental sends.
This architecture is the foundation of both Messages in Time (V1) and Unsaid (V2), and is designed to be defensible, auditable, and deeply human in its safeguards.
